Our software automates property data capture and standardisation. This enhances the efficiency of analysis and reporting tasks for real estate professionals, and helps them to unlock the true value of their data.


The role

We are looking for a Head of Real Estate to lead and develop our real estate data team. This role is for a motivated and innovative individual who has prior experience of working with tenancy schedule data. You will work as part as a cross-functional team with the guidance of the Co-founders, and build relationships with PRODA’s clients. You will gain knowledge of machine learning, commercial real estate, and software engineering.

  • This is a permanent, full-time role. The core hours are 9AM–6PM Monday–Friday.
  • Salary: £50–85k p/a + equity options, depending on experience.


Key responsibilities

  • Data modelling: Creating ontologies and schemas for commercial real estate data. This involves classifying and categorising property data and managing the model’s rules and business logic.
  • Working closely with the Co-founders to write business logic that can be directly converted into functioning code by software developers.
  • Modify and maintain several real estate data schema detailed enough to capture relevant real estate variables from any format.
  • Originate and maintain real estate data processing and standardisation rules, and write comprehensive, bullet-proof logic that handles all structures.
  • Manage a team of 2+ analysts working towards the same goals.
  • Client relations: liaise directly with real estate and PropTech companies who are using PRODA. Support them and use their feedback to set priorities for the product development pipeline.


Skills and experience

  • 3–10 years of experience working closely with tenancy schedule data. This could be in investments, asset management, property management or brokerage, and the more asset classes and jurisdictions the better.
  • Experience with variable scheme ideal, whether in building internal reporting or underwriting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Capable of working autonomously without close management.
  • Enthusiasm to work as part of a small start-up team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable working directly with clients.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with databases (SQL) is a bonus but not a must.
